I treated myself to a massage at the Peninsula the other day because I had a horrible lower back ache. The massage was incredibly relaxing, then again if you like massages, how could it not be?? When in NYC the Peninsula is hands-down the best place to go for a massage (more spacious and zen than Mandarin, Ritz...), but unfortunately soon after getting off the massage table my pain was back. Since I didn't do anything out of the ordinary, I'm sure it will just go away on its own. This isn't the first time I've had this kind of pain and I'm thinking it has to do with my nightmare-induced odd sleep body positioning! Any case I'm taking an active approach at treating it with
Arnica cream, warm showers, and muscle relaxing oils from
Pharmacopia for a speedier recovery. I ordered Pharmacopia's body oil in lavender and the smell is enough to make me wish I could fall asleep on a cloud of cushions! It's only $9.99, all-natural, vegan, and I'm pretty prone to breakouts and had no issues with it. I've been using it as a cuticle oil pre-DIY mani as well:)
