Why you all need your own Glee, we don't know, but whatever.

We kid, we kid. We know Marc is just trying to make a funny.

Sad as it may seem, Desperate Housewives is on its way out, which means its creator is ready to start on a brand new show. Word is he's already sold an one-hour pilot to ABC called Hallelujah, which he is calling "a cross between Touched By An Angel and Dallas."

The show will center around a " good-hearted diner owner and the corrupt powerful businessman" who both live in a small town that is lacking in faith. Then, as Marc explains, " a mysterious stranger arrives and miraculous things start happening."

Yeah, so far this isn't sound anything like Glee to you, is it? Hold on, we're getting there.

Fans of Housewives won't be disappointed as we're told a lot of the characters will have "dark, juicy secrets" that unfold once this stranger arrives in town. (Goodie, goodie!)

A la Mary Alice Young, the show will also be narrated by a "generous helping of gospel music," which is why Marc is jokingly referring to the show as "Glee for conservative Republicans."

Ha! That's kind of funny actually - for now. We can see it getting rather irritating after a while. Still, we have high hopes for the series.

Think U'd turn in for Marc's new show?
