Last week there was an event held at the La Prairie counter at the flagship Bloomingdale's. Anyone passing by could test out the latest La Prairie innovation, Cellular Power Infusion (officially launching next month, but you can already buy it online), while snacking on bubbly and berry-flavored ice cream topped with sprinkles....if there's one thing La Prairie always gets right, it's their sweet treats! Last time I went to one of their events they had macaroons..YUM...they sure know how to butter people up to get them excited about trying a new infusion! Anyway back to the new product. It's got a cool science experiment-like feel to it. Each kit comes with four mini vials of the infusion; you twist the bottom of the bottle and the clear liquid inside becomes blue - as pictured above - in a few seconds. Once activated the travel-friendly bottle lasts about a week. Meaning the kit, which comes with a very La Prairie-esque price tag of $475, will last you 4 weeks. I got one of the individual bottles at the event to test out so I've been using my 7-day sample for the last few days. While I can't tell much of a revitalizing difference yet, I can say that it smells absolutely amazing. Loved putting this on my face for the sheer fact that it had a light, refreshing, clean smell that totally perked me up. It's not moisturizing, so you'll need to apply moisturizer afterward, but luckily the La Prairie folks said it's compatible with any moisturizer.
