This isn't exactly shocking news, but it's a positive step for him and his family!
After he announced his "separation" from wife Courteney Cox, David Arquette hopped on the party train and did not jump off for months, until this weekend.
The actor was repeatedly seen out clubbing in Hollywood and handling his split in a very public way.
Thankfully, though, according to reports Arquette checked himself in to rehab over the New Year's holiday.
We hope it does him good! We think it will - so long as he doesn't check in to Michael Lohan's treatment facility! We kid. We kid.
David is reportedly seeking treatment for alcohol and "other issues", but not drugs.
A source close to Arquette says he is doing it because it's "the right thing to do for his family."
Is he doing this because he thinks this will help him win Courteney back??
