I have been sporting Chanel's Khaki Vert polish all season and finally decided to try something new-- RED! I rarely wear red nail polish but tis the season, right? I went through my stash and found several bottles and decided to try each one to make sure I wanted to make this kind of commitment. The first turned out to be too red (translation: dragon lady), the second was too pink (if you're going red, you must go all the way) but the third, third was utter charm from MAC! MAC Concubine is literally the perfect shade of candy apple red with just a tinge of glitter-- it's not as flashy as you'd think judging from the bottle and the color goes on really evenly in two fast drying coats. What I love most about it is that it makes my skin appear to be alabaster pale. I'll be wearing this for the next couple of months for sure!
