The worst thing about winter is skin damage from indoor heaters-- all that dry air makes my skin so parched and wrinkly! I was working in NYC last month during a cold front and I swear my entire body felt like a shriveled prune. Luckily I have friends in high places, one of them (Caroline Kim- Producer and Editorial Director of NBC New York) came over on a cold wintery night like Santa Claus and dumped a huge bag of beauty products on my lap. I immediately tried each and every one of the bottles and jars (but of course). And my favorite of the stash was by far the Gold Luxury Skin Cream by Georgia New York ($30.00). It looked and felt so amazingly rich and moisturizing but absorbed in my skin surprisingly light and smooth (it also smells like delicious citrus sorbets, I wanted to lick my arm all night). I was able to put on my jeans right after applying it, too (don't you hate when you have thick gooey lotion on and your jeans do not pull on properly which makes you feel really fat? Wait, that's another post, we'll talk about that later). I'm now obsessed with all things Georgia and even use the Valencia Sublime Body Lotion ($33.00) on my six year old.
The products are made of natural essential oils and infused with pure ingredients by snobby moms Jodie Patterson and Kiara Ellozy. They understand that women just want to be beautiful, simply and naturally. You must check out their Nolita boutique on 89 E. Houston St if you're in the city or shop online below!
